Regarding Package Universes I have two points I have noticed using the 
3.10 Universe:

1. Packages should have information such as purpose and maintainer.
   At the moment there seems to be no such information. Instead it is 
repeated for every version of the package.
2. It would be nice if version information would contain release date 
and comment. As there is no
    common release number system the release date would be an 
interesting information.
