I've posted a new iPhone VM 1.06b4.

This handles the case where calling select with a maximum file  
descriptor array of size zero results
in a bogus error code which we then print to the system log.  We now  
try not to call select when there
are no file descriptors and fall back to using nanosleep to sleep  
squeak.

This likely should improve performance and not fill up your iphone/ 
ipod touch with meaningless diagnostic data.
