I'm not sure who exactly you are referring to in the above as being 
condescending and rude, but if you mean me, I have offered to stay away 
from such a meeting if that makes it acceptable to you. The offer is 
still on the table, you only need to accept it.

If it's not me, then you'll have to be explicit about who you think 
would be acceptable in such a discussion and who wouldn't.
