I revived the invite-only #squeak-gsoc channel on freenode, and
made you a full op. To join, do:

register with nickserv if not already
/msg chanserv invite #squeak-gsoc
/join #squeak-gsoc

We used that channel for meetings last year. If you want to use
it, it is there.
