Hi guys!

Just wanted to chip in and mention two things:

1. There is a web team led by Janko with Igor as advisor. It has a 
mailinglist: webteam at lists.squeakfoundation.org  But of course you know 
that, just mentioning it for those who may be aware. :)

2. The discussion about what should be on the "front page" is an ongoing 
theme in the web team. We have changed it, changed it and... changed it 
again. :)

The current style is not so uninviting as you may suggest below IMHO - 
the second headline is called "Take Part in the Innovation". And there 
are multiple links there, like:

Join 	the community to find common interests.
Participate 	in the teams.

...so even though I ALSO think a welcoming text very early on would be 
beneficial, it is not like we are hiding stuff away.

I on the other hand think the Team model and how it was meant to work 
from the beginning is something that I very much would like to hear more 
thoughts about and what the candidates think about it.
