[squeak-dev] My own Squeak direction

Hi Andreas, Hi All,

    here's an interesting rant:
http://www.xent.com/pipermail/fork/Week-of-Mon-20091109/054578.html from one
Jeff Bone. I think he's wrong on implementation and right on general
direction. He wants current stuff (web, files, regular expressions) to be
easy, but (IMO) he's wrong to think that the only way to get there is to put
in direct linguistic support. Why this rant might be relevant to our
discussion is that it shows what some current programmers look for in a
system and that if one can do what he wants one has a better chance of
competing to grow the community, and growing the community can help in
reaching other goals.

Anyway, 2¢, grist to the mill, etc.
