Folks -

I've been looking at the Services package again and was yet again 
wondering what it is useful for. If any of you use it, in particular if 
you need it to be in the kernel image (instead of externally loadable) 
could you send a brief comment explaining how Services is useful to you 
and how it is superior to the alternatives?
