We can't ignore evidence about people and corporations that
 tried to spread horizontally Smalltalk and failed
 during the last +30years.
It is not the same as in "programming languages".

It is a good time to start thinking in what make Smalltalk
 diferent.

Each time we make efforts to disolve peculiarities
 of Smalltalk, people choose for massive options.

I have read this email in a local list about Ruby.
It can be a joke... or also can be that
 Kent has not understood what Smalltalk
 was and what Smalltalk is today.
