I'm not sure to understand exactly what you want...
- integrate those extensions into an existing package?
- create a new package containing extensions?
- discuss about those options?
IMHO, the first option must be discussed with original authors, Martin and
Michael. Or did integration already happened in VW branch?
The second option must be discussed with the rest of the community.
