     Thanks for all your work on this!

     This sort of testing is the best reason I have for using virtual
machines a la Parallels etc. I grab a virgin system (ideally with a
guest OS which is different from the one I use for primary development)
and do a fresh install as an end-user would.

     And if you use a cloud-based host (EC2, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
then we can share results easily.
