My backup CDs were mostly unreadable, and of the 3 hard disk drives that I kept from 1995-1997 two were unreadable (the
WD caviar 1.2G and 4G ones), only the 1995 IBM drive (500M) still works but does not have the files on it (there's a
MkLinux install on it plus only a minimal MacOS system).
So no success here.
