Hi,

To continue the work that was done in the past (see http://squeakvm.org)
on a Solaris (UNIX) version of Squeak, there's now a SourceForge (SF) project:

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/solaris-squeak/

The older versions of squeakvm.org were for older versions of Solaris
(for both SPARC and Intel).

The new site is currently for Solaris 11.3 and Solaris 11.4 Intel only
(no SPARC yet, for the moment).

Specifically there are some notes on installing Squeak on Solaris 11:

Also there is a package "squeak-4" which can run Squeak V4 images.

The squeak-4 package was compiled from squeakvm.org sources (subversion).

And a package "squeak-5" (Stack Spur and Cog Spur) :

This is a (very recent) VM which includes again (the old) DES,MD5,SHA2 plugins,
that VM was compiled from the recent Cog opensmalltalk sources as of July 26.
