sorry guys, but what is the root directory?
I'm afraid you're gone have to be more specific for me.

I supposed the root was opensmallk-vm, but apparently, that was a mistake:

$ pwd
/usr/home/edwin/Smalltalk/opensmalltalk-vm
$ scripts/updateSCCSVersions
fatal: platforms/Cross/plugins/sqPluginsSCCSVersion.h: no such path in the
working tree.
Use 'git <command> -- <path>...' to specify paths that do not exist locally.
$
