Then I suppose it is not possible to load that library from that location. Otherwise, you would not get the error. I think it just tries to use the "abs()" function to check availability.

In the preference browser, i set it ti "/usr/lib64/libc.so"  , which is where libc exists on Slackware64


and I still get the error.



I will be adding the fix to the Doc SqueakHowto or somesuch for future reference.
