Jason,

Thanks for illuminating an important point: it's not that I want to save
broken code; the compiler *should* complain there.  I frequently do want
to save code with extraneous variables defined.  Having optional (or
non-modal) help in locating them would be appreciated, but prompts in my
way simply slow my work.

This problem I don't have.  If I haven't accepted some code I like
that the window still shows modified.  Perhaps what would be nice is
to have tabs so that you can just have lots open (I do this with
browsers now) and you don't need to "save" code that's broken.

The ability to save workspaces in Dolphin was nice. :)
