[Vm-dev] Getting InterpreterSimulator working

Is it possible to use the InterpreterSimulator in a 3.10.2 image on a  
3.10.2 image?  If so, can anyone point me to some docs on how to get  
it going?  I've successfully followed the VMMaker docs but get 'Error:  
incompatible image format' when I try to fire up InterpreterSimulator.
