Ok, BUT, isn't all this thing about CMakeVMMaker expected to work with the
Git version?

Anyway, why it cannot just be optional? For example:

CogMTCocoaIOSConfig new
       generateForDebug;
       extractCommitInfo;
       generateSources; generate.

?
