On Aarch64/arm64 you need to build and use the Stack VM at present.

There is an open issue with arm64 Cog segfaulting:

"Getting a segmentation fault on the latest squeak.cog.spur #574"

From my uninformed (not really a C/gdb user) view, it appears that the
stack pointer gets trashed at some semi-random point. Without a Logic
Analyzer or other method of deep trace, this kind of random/blue-moon
crash is really hard to troubleshoot.

IMHO, the continuing base problem is lack of people with both deep,
knowledgeable debugging skills AND the time to look. Few people. Busy
lives. More VM Love needed by the community, i.e. US.
