[Webteam] go live date; changes to site

I know people are waiting for squeak.org to go live to complete the release of 4.5. I have to say at this point that that is out of my hands. 
I've tried to get Ken on board in the past few days to push things over the top and I'm getting no response. 

Tim, you suggestions are all great. But I'm only looking at them with half an eye until the new squeak.org is live. 
Yes, there needs to be a way for people to collaborate without me being the sole conduit. I have a plan for that. I'll outline it soon.
