From: [...] Daniel Vainsencher What is the situation with our contact people to communities off the list? They might not have as convenient a tool as SqP.
We've already said that we'll use their subscriber lists. Assuming the list admin has a way of obtaining that subscriber list (most will, I think), they're in a strong position.
That said, who's contacting these folks and when? I'll undertake to do it if soneone can dig out a list of names and addresses (or the URL where they're archived).

Right before I posted the instructions to the squeak-dev list, I emailed the stakeholders listed on http://swiki.krampe.se/castaways/9
Andreas has announced the election to the Croquet/Tweak folks. He's asked interested Croquet/Tweak folks to sign up on SqP.
John Maloney said he didn't think the Scratch community would be interested in voting.
Yoshiki is standing as a candidate and Masashi is on the Election Team, so I'm hopeful that the message is getting out to the Japanese Squeakers, although I don't know that for sure.
I haven't heard from the other stakeholders.
Hello,
Yoshiki is standing as a candidate and Masashi is on the Election Team, so I'm hopeful that the message is getting out to the Japanese Squeakers, although I don't know that for sure.
A handful have registered at SqueakPeople, and I have another handful email addresses of voters. I'll send the list of email addresses in 18 hours or so.
