No, it's like the original message said. I fixed this last week (it's been driving me nuts for the past 3 years). The code is at home, so I can't post it right now -- but you can do it for yourself easily enough. In HandleEvents(), add a case to the main switch() to handle MapNotify (just before the UnmapNotify loop for "lazy" mode is probably the most tasteful location): case MapNotify: { Window root, child; int rootX, rootY, winX, winY; unsigned int mask; if (True == XQueryPointer(stDisplay, stWindow, &root, &child, &rootX, &rootY, &winX, &winY, &mask)) { mousePosition.x= winX; mousePosition.y= winY; // could also update the modifiers here based on mask, but // I can't be bothered... } } break; Type "make" in the usual place, and forget about that reflex that used to nag at you to always move the mouse before trying to open a menu... [FIX] TwoWayScrollPane

Hi, This is my first contribution to the community. I found TwoWayScrollPane recentry posted is quite useful, but the width of the horizontal scrollbar become incorrect when there is no leftover of the vertical one. The following is the fix for the probrem. Two Simple Question

I hope. heheh Setup: I'm trying to create an application. It is made up of three AlignmentMorphs. Two of them are simply columns of buttons. The third is made up of several rows of AlignmentMorphs which contain several ImageMorphs. First Question: Is there a way to disable halos for all but the main A-Morph? Heck, I guess I could disable it for the main one as well, and put the whole thing in a window. I've managed to disable the halos for the sub-most Morph, but then you can't click through to the owner Morphs. (It was done by overriding 'addHalo' to the sub-most Morph.) Second Question: I would like the ImageMorphs to perform an action by clicking on them. I understand overrinding 'handlesMouseDown' to return true. What I'm not sure about is what to do with "mouseDown:" Do I simply put the code there that I want to execute? Or is there a bit more to it? Third *BONUS* Question: Would Question One interfere at all with pop-up menus? BT

newbie question about 2.5 VM on Mac

Hello, Running Squeak on my Mac G3 works perfectly. Trying to run 2.5 however gives me the error "Unable to Run Squeak VM PPC.... Unable to find InterfaceLib -- MainDevice". What does this mean? Wolf

[BUG?] PluggableList>>mouseLeave:

.... doesn't exist, so it doesn't give up keyboard focus. I noticed this when activating a Preferences window after a browser - if you scroll by keyboard then, the list scrolls even though the window was deactivated. Maybe on deactivation, if the current hand's keyboard focus is a submorph of that window, it should be reset in general? -Bert-

autoAccessors influence

[swiki-bug] ftp external links are not recognized

Hi, The subject says it all: the new Minnow swiki doesn't recognize ftp:// as being the beginning of an external link, and thus makes a new page for it. I thought the implementors would like to hear, cause it must be easy to solve this one. (for now I'll use <a href>). Greets, Stefan
