This needs to stay in the inbox for the time being. There are old style preferences that refer to InputSensor, and these will need to be changed to refer to EventSensor, or (better) replaced with pragma preferences.

InputSensor removal step 1.
Move instance methods to EventSensor, eliminate super calls, resolve primitive fallbacks, recategorize. Preserve original method stamps where possible.
Class variables and system startup/shutdown to be addressed next.
