Is there an object browser/inspector/explorer that will show me available methods on the object being browsed, in addition to its state?
Thanks - Sophie

The inspector in OB-Tools does that.

It is included in the latest squeak-dev based on 3.10. However, some people reported that some important features (for them) were lacking. As a result, I don't know if I will continue to include OB-Tools in future squeak-dev releases. Please guys, tell me your opinion.

Like what? And why don't these people add the missing features then?

Like http://bugs.squeak.org/view.php?id=7164 and http://bugs.squeak.org/view.php?id=7148. They probably don't care about a new and shiny implementation, they prefer the old one unless the new one has all the features automagically implemented by someone else.
Sophie, You could look at the class browser in BabyIDE1. BabyIDE1 can be opened on any package; the sub-packages will appear as perspectives in the tool. Use the world menu>open...>BabyIDE to open BabyIDE1. Use the window menu (upper, left corner) to focus on a particular package. (http://heim.ifi.uio.no/~trygver/assets/BabyIDE-Squeak.ZIP) The browser filters on superclasses and method categories.
But it is a prototype/experiment and not really usable.
