Hello there,
I can't figure how to get the jitter running, I'm doing this:
igel@xi:~> squeak -version 3.2-5 #2 XShm Wed Oct 16 12:50:55 CEST 2002 gcc egcs-2.91.66 Squeak3.2gamma of 15 January 2002 [latest update: #4881] Linux pingu.inria.fr 2.2.19-6.2.7 #1 Thu Jun 14 07:51:10 EDT 2001 i686 default plugin location: /usr/lib/squeak/3.2-5/*.so igel@xi:~> uname -a Linux xi 2.4.18-4GB #1 Wed Mar 27 13:57:05 UTC 2002 i686 unknown igel@xi:~> squeak -jit could not find j_interpret igel@xi:~>

nothing: The option does not work. (The code for the jitter is not included in the normal vm).

The problem is that the jitter never really got finished...
there is an old (3.0 for linux, 3.2 for macos9) version of J3 at: http://www.ira.uka.de/~marcus/Squeak/j3/ But this is *not* a production-quality vm. (especially the X86 version has some bugs).
