I want to chime in and say, I’d like to see that eToys is keep up-to-date while being loadable or unloadable.

It does provide some features that enrich what can be done. Its code provides examples of many things you can do to make the ST UI very polished and nice. It also provides quite a few examples of the power of ST. All that would be a terrible loss for the community and new users.
