For some background, I'm working at a small company which is currently using Tcl/Tk to create the UI for a 3D graphics app (human simulation) on both Unix and Windows. In addition to being fairly portable and supporting Windows/Motif/Mac look 'n' feel, Tcl/Tk is also free (as is Perl/Tk and Python/Tk), which is part of why we chose to use it.
According to what I read on the Python GUI-SIG, the Mac version of Tk is seriously crippled. Callbacks don't work appropriately, and the widgets have a memory leak. That makes a Squeak/Tk port pretty unappealing.
