Well, we might ship the -LGC font variants. This would give us a much
wider range of accented Latin characters, plus Cyrillic and Greek
ones. On the downside the image would grow by several megabytes.
Alternatively, make some more effort to support Pango not only on
Linux. Or FreeType, which will be easier but less powerful. For both
of these we must include the fonts as files instead of in the image
(need to ship font files to assure projects still behave identically
across platforms).
