Using build 2390 of Etoys to Go 4.1.1 the preference "sound reverb" starts unchecked.  But when you Record then play a sound as soon as you click on "Play" the "sound reverb" preference gets checked.  If you manually uncheck the preference, then record another sound it stays "unchecked".
