[Seaside] largish files

We have a log reader application using Seaside that has been in
production for about 6 or 7 months. All has been fine up until now.
Due to some extra logging in our Java-based app our logs have grown by
about 1/3 to around 1.5 - 2.0 MB. Squeak hangs while processing these
files and never comes back (I have waited for over an hour and no
response).

I was having some issues after getting image updates (the String
refactoring). I think I cleaned those all up, but it's possible I
missed something crucial and that could be my problem. But, before I
forcefully kill my image and start tracking that down I wanted to know
if anyone has successfully read in text files of that size or larger
and has seen that Squeak does "just fine." If the answer is that a
2.0MB file is a bit too big for Squeak I will have to abandon
Seaside/Squeak and I don't want to do that.

This image is a 3.8 image (don't remember the latest change set#)
running on a Windows 2003 server. The Seaside version is
2.5a-something.

Thanks in advance.
