Interesting that you mention that the Squeak list is subscribable through
eGroups, something of which I wasn't aware.  Over on the Minnestore list,
which is managed by eGroups, there have been some problems of late with some
individuals who have been using eGroups to send spam.  (I'm not blaming
eGroups here, just pointing out that their service is being used in a
negative way).  I wonder how many people have signed up for the Squeak list
through eGroups?  If it's not an oft-used portal into the list perhaps it
would be better to take Squeak off of eGroups to cut down on the spam
possibilities.  On the other hand, it's pretty easy to spot these messages
and nuke them without reading them.
