Cannot install Squeak v. 3.2-4

Hello,

I wanted to give Squeak a try but I cannot get it installed properly from sources on
my Linux system. Please note that I have no experience with Smalltalk, just wanted
to learn.

I'll try to describe my problems:

1) "make install" seems to install just very little from what was build, i.e. just:
    a) the binary squeak in $PREFIX/lib/squeak/3.2-4/ and a link to it
    b) the plugins B3DAcceleratorPlugin and UnixOSProcessPlugin at the same location
    c) the squeak man page
this seems to be related to the fact that the variable PLUGINS_LA in the Makefile
   has the value:
    B3DAcceleratorPlugin${la} UnixOSProcessPlugin${la}
and the install-plugins rule depends on it

2) a squeak.image file is not created nor installed; inisqueak is not run, even if
there is a install-image rule for this it is not called by make install

3) if choosing pthread support for the Mpeg3Plugin -lpthread is not added to the
LIBS variable, thus the compile fails, adding it by hand in the Makefile solves
   the problem

Help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Serban
