Cool beans!  I wrote a little CA LifeMorph a while back myself. Been
meaning to add pluggable rules.  Unlike some of the other Life
implementations posted on the list, it allows you to use your mouse to
draw the organisms' patterns.  Pretty damn slow, though- it does no direct
drawing, uses Morphs as the organism blocks
