I figured out how to make this work :)

I have only 2 mouse buttons (Dell Latitude; W2k pro) and the right-click
doesn't bring up the halos. I went into the mouse control panel, though, and
set the right-click to act as a middle-click. I then indeed did get the
halos when right-clicking. Thanks for pointing out that an easy one-click
halo is a current option with the proper mouse or setting.
