BTW, Carl Worth has a very small, simple gesture recognizer (looks alot
like Grafitti) we use on the iPAQ on Familiar Linux (and, for that matter,
on Compaq's tablet PC, running Linux). Currently it is GPL:
license is negotiable, according to Carl. See www.xstroke.org.

It is external to all applications: it turns out there is a bit of information
that would improve its UI: the underlying toolkit should label widgets with
name/class information, so that you can naturally just drag scroll bars, etc,
without hassle.
