DMOZ volunteer needed

Dear Lurker ;-),

Still feeling guilty about the last time you passed an opportunity to
volunteer? Well, here's your chance to finally get active *and* get the
critical acclaim of a widespread audience you've been dreaming of!

[I hope that paragraph passes your spam filter - Ed]

What is the case?

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Programming/Languages/Smalltalk/Squeak/

is without an editor. That's bad. It would be great if one or two
die-hard Squeakers could volunteer to manage this category before some
Java nerd takes over...

For those who don't know, dmoz, the Open Directory Project, is probably
the largest directory on the planet. It is also the directory that
Google serves up, so it might be the most frequented directory as well.
It is a collaborative project, anyone can become an editor (click the
'Become an Editor' link on top of every page) if they submit a serious
application.

Of course, if you don't want to become an editor, there's always the
neat project of writing a cool Squeak app that can read the dmoz RDF
dump (http://rdf.dmoz.org/) and offers a friendly UI to it (it's only
~300Mb worth of data, so looks like a typical rainy Sunday afternoon
project ;-))

Regards,

Cees
