Hi all,

I knew I'd leave out a couple points in my prior e-mail.
Notice how Microsoft & Apple try to support the teacher in practical ways (for use with _their_ proprietary products) such as:

http://search.officeupdate.microsoft.com/TemplateGallery/ct149.asp

I meant to include critical evaluation of web content for accuracy as an example of how the curriculum teaches enhanced use of a medium.

By "one-step Cmd-Z key" I mean how Squeak provides only one level of Undo by default.

Models should be passed on from one grade level to the next for accumulative improvement.

The school should continue to supply updated models to the student even after they've graduated for life long learning.

I believe that Squeak/eToys UI severely underutilize lists and outlines as essential tools for Watching <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71a.htm> (Exploring), Wondering <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71b.htm> (Questioning), Webbing <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71c.htm> (Searching), Wiggling <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71d.htm> (Evaluating), Weaving <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71e.htm> (Synthesizing), Wrapping <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71f.htm> (Creating), Waving <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71g.htm> (Communicating), and Wishing <http://eduscapes.com/tap/topic71h.htm> (Assessing). But this could be easily rectified. ( I just need a little more time.)

Cheers,
Darius
