[Squeakland] Puzzle about the squeak's bringing up

We always bring up the sqeuak system by two ways:clicking on the VM,or
dragging the .image file onto the VM file.I thought the two ways were
equivalent,but I was wrong.In fact bringing up by dragging is much
faster.What makes the gap between these two ways?

Environment:
Windows XP
Squeak 3.6
And there is only one .image file in the squeak's directory.
