A few notes

Hi!

Just read the "Possible 3.9 Release objectives" (good post) and a few
comments:

- The Package team has decided (AFAICT) to stick with PI for now. Also,
work on partitioning has started, though not yet announced on
squeak-dev: http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak/5641

- The PackageInfo-Extras package should probably be added to basic (it
has very useful features in a partitioned world, like splitting
changesets based on PIs etc)

- The MorphicSplitters team will produce a result that should be
installable in the final 3.9 release but the plan is AFAIK to not give
any results to 3.9 itself (the end result will be a Big Filein as first
thing in 4.0alpha).
