Radical Zionist hitman, David Axelrod previously orchestrated the Jewish-financed and organized defeat of perceived anti-Zionist Sen. Charles Percy. He is the man who ran Obama�s campaign for President and who is his chief handler. Obama�s campaign was overwhelmingly financed by the most powerful Zionist bankers in the world. His campaign�s largest contribution source was the Zionist international banking firm of Goldman Sachs. (FEC campaign records). In both Obama�s Senate and Presidential campaign he prostrated himself before AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) promising even more money and blood for Israel�s terrorism than even the supine John McCain, and even more money and blood than the previous Shabbez Goy in the White House, George Bush. Before the Israeli terrorism and mass murder in Gaza, he went to Israel and said that he supported Israel�s planned murderous terrorism against the men, women and children of Gaza. His first act as President-elect was to appoint a rabid Zionist, Israeli dual citizen who served in the Israeli Army as his Chief of Staff, Rahm Emmanuel. As thousands of women and children in Gaza were killed or maimed, Obama remained silent. Within a few days as President Obama supported indiscriminate American missile strikes in villages of our ally Pakistan, a clear continuation of Bush�s policies. He completely supports the theft of trillions of American taxpayer dollars to the Zionist international bankers. Just a quick note that I have copied all of the content/accounts/etc for SqueakPeople as well as the source code for mod_virgule (which actually I've had a copy of on my workstation for some time) to the community server in /root/SqueakPeople/ so we have the data. My understanding is that the server will be shutting down at the end of today. Ken

Team list moderation

As of this moment this team's mailing list as 15148 messages held for moderation. Clearly no one is moderating this list. Is that going to change? If not please set this list to automatically discard messages from non-subscribers. If you need assistance with that let me know. Let me know when you have either have made the setting change or plan to start moderating again and I will delete the current queue. It's pretty much impossible to use the web moderation tool with that many messages. Ken

What does everyone think? I presume we have these options to pick from: 1. Do nothing. This option needs to have a minimum limit on number of board members before a whole re-election kicks in. IMHO a full re-election would be logical in that case. Given our "lack" of activity this seems less optimal to me. 2. Fill empty seats in a whole open fashion not favoring runners up from previous election result. There are pros and cons of course, it is "fair" in its simplicity and it offers a bigger palette of people etc etc. The con would be ... well, not sure I see a con actually - the runners up would still be "obvious picks" anyway. This would be my personal choice at this time I think. 3. Fill empty seats focusing on runners up *first* and then openly only if those "run out". I personally think there may be more problems with this option than there are benefits. Let's say there is an obvious very active choice in the open - and a very passive person who was runner up. Would that seem fair? 4. Fill empty seats only using runners up and if those run out - move to option #1 above. This would be the "respect the election"-option I guess, but I personally feel it is a bit restrictive. After all, we only sit 1 year at a time - not 4. :) I can not see any more options - can you? Finally we also need to "decide" if the decision we will make in say 2 weeks of time after the discussion on squeak-dev is ours to make (Election team with me as leader) or if it is up to the board. > I don't think we should do anything until we hear from Göran. Filling Vacancy

Hi, Tim Rowledge decided to quit from the "Squeak Leadership" (Squeak Board) while ago, and Dan Ingalls decided to "make room" another person who can more actively attend the bi-weekly conference call. So, now we have two seats available. The Leadership members generally think that the runner-up(s) in the last election should be promoted. But was there a policy? Does anybody in the team think that there is an issue with it? Or was there any other ways we once agreed? Let us know your ideas. Thanks! -- Yoshiki

[Election 2008] The results are in!

Hi all Squeakers! Ok, the Squeak Foundation Board Election 2008 ended 19 minutes ago - promptly at 18.00 UTC, 8 March. For this year we had 437 authorized voters of which 178 voted, that is slightly more than 40% voting - a bit disappointing IMHO since we had 157 voting of 347 last year which gives above 45%. On the other hand 178 is more than 157, so we had more voters and thus a growing community, which of course is the most important aspect! And without further ado I bring you the board for the following year starting from NOW. The order reflects the ranking from the election: 1. Dan Ingalls 2. Craig Latta 3. Bert Freudenberg 4. Yoshiki Ohshima 5. Tim Rowledge 6. Randal L. Schwartz 7. Igor Stasenko And thus the candidates left out are the following (also in ranked order): 8. Giovanni Corriga 9. Edgar J. De Cleene 10. Hi Göran, Can you add Dans name to the list of questions? Maybe Monday would be a good day to encourage candidates to answer questions. We should set up a test election; we need the wording of emails that goes out. This is what we had last year: Squeak Foundation Board Elections 2007 The 7 highest rated candidates from the list will comprise the Squeak Foundation Board starting from the end of voting, and for a year. Remember that your vote is considered as a ranking of all candidates. The virtual candidate "None Of The Above" should only be ranked over candidates that you would prefer not to see in the Board at all. Some of the candidates have posted information about themselves and their candidacy on the squeak-dev list or other places. Hi all! The nomination period for this years election of the Squeak Foundation board has ended. We have 12 candidates for the board! Superb! Now we are in the so called "Campaigning period" until the 29th february. During this period the candidates are of course free to do whatever they like :) but the following two activities have been used earlier years and I hope that the candidates will participate in them: 1. Post a "campaigning statement" (or whatever) as an article on http://people.squeakfoundation.org. People can then reply and ask questions etc without drowning in squeak-dev. It also makes a nice "persistent" record. Of course people can follow up on squeak-dev too. 2. Answer the 10 questions we have cooked up for the candidates by a post to squeak-dev: http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/6029 That page is locked (only I can edit) so the idea is that the candidates answer by writing a post to squeak-dev starting from today. All should feel free to discuss on squeak-dev at length of course. The initial posts (with the answers) will be collected by me ASAP and filled in on the the Q&A page mentioned above so that all answers can be seen in one place. The nomination period for this years election of the Squeak Foundation board WILL END tomorrow, on the 22nd february, hey, let's say at 23:59:59 UTC to be precise. :) So it is high time to speak up unless you already have done so! We have 11 candidates so far: Bert Freudenberg (serving on the board currently) Yoshiki Ohshima (serving on the board currently) Craig Latta (serving on the board currently) Tim Rowledge (serving on the board currently) Andrew P. Black (serving on the board currently) Matthew Fulmer Igor Stasenko Tansel Ersavas Giovanni Corriga Edgar J. De Cleene Randal L. Schwartz Having met 5 in person, worked with 2, chatted regularly with another 2 and of course corresponded quite a bit with the rest - my take is that we have a really good and strong lineup this year!
