Over the next few days I will be doing final testing on release 40. If anyone has *release 39* repositories, I would appreciate your opening (a backup of) them directly in the r40 beta to see how the automatic upgrade feature worked.
There is a one-click-loadable Monticello configuration for release 40 on the MagmaTester project called "r40Beta1". This will essentially become the released version sometime next week.
If any problems are found with it, now is the time to let me know.
Thanks! Chris

I guess other will have this problem.
I can't get to load it from Monticello. I got the error from:
MCMcmReader>>loadVersionInfo self subclassResponsibility
I guess the procedure from Monticello is to add repository:
(MCHttpRepository location: 'http://www.squeaksource.com/MagmaTester' user: '' password: '')
Then browse to r40Beta1, when I click over r40Beta1.mcm at the right I got this error.
I am using 3.9 dev and it seems it is fixed from the Monticello package at
(MCHttpRepository location: 'http://source.impara.de/mc' user: 'squeak' password: '')
Not sure which repository to use as several was proposed, but this one seems to contain the latest versions.

Thanks! Chris
Ah, no sorry loading Monticello from the impara.de source does not fix.
Another error show up:
MessageNotUnderstood: MethodReference>>isLocalSelector
It seems this Monticello problem has some history in the squeak-dev mailing list.
I am sorry Chris but I can not test r40Beta1 now
