Just a question is the configuration file versioned too because it seems important to be able to load back old configurations?
In the current hybrid stream/mc scheme, there is no separate configuration file. All configurations will appear as a changeset in the update stream. You can use the changesorter to see older configurations.
OK Is there a reason? because publishing the MC configurations also as a package is useful.
It was TSTTCPW. As I said before, yes it would be a good idea to version configs, and yes it would be good to get unify versions and configurations into a general dependency scheme, but the general consensus was to start using what there is right now and improve over time.
