[Seaside] input data verification

hi,

i'am a beginner in seaside and i have a problem with testing datas in forms
before to post them.
i tried to understand the seaside's sushi store example but it was not a
success !
so is there anyone here who can explain to me how i can test if the data
that a user type in the input fields are correct or not like it is done in
the seaside store example
