[Seaside] Deploying Pier

I know this sounds like a pier question, but i think it might be more
seaside..

I am setting up another pier site. in the past, i set up pier in an image,
and just deployed that, without working much on setting it up on a
streamlined image.

Is it advisable to just download the pier image from the website, build my
site, and deploy that?
