Ned, thanks for the mouse-wheel-on-linux patch you posted back in
september - this works well for me with (the version of Lex's source
that I have here).

I also want to say thank you to Dan and others for the recent work on
speedups, flap ergonomics, etc - all much appreciated on my P266.
Closing a projecthistorymorph and turning off round corners has also
made quite a difference. I intend to bite the bullet and learn more
about profiling in squeak if I can.
