project hierarchy pretty empty

It seems to be my day for questions. This is low priority, but
since I noticed it...

The project hierarchy tools shows very few of the projects in my
image. Is this a bug or a feature? The projects do show up on the
jump to project list.

I just loaded HTMR - Intro from the server. Then I loaded some
subprojects by clicking on them. However, they don't show up in the
project hierarchy browser--even when I'm in them!

Random theories:
1) demand loaded projects don't show up. (But even the demo projects
in the image from the start don't show).
2) some projects appear in more than one place in the hierarchy, and
they don't get displayed.

On 2, the image already had the demo stuff that comes with the image.
I think this is quite similar to the HTMR stuff on the swiki, only not
as current. I downloaded HTMR-Intro to a different spot, so maybe
that's causing trouble. However, none of the projects look exactly
the same.
