Funding

I feel for all Smalltalkers out there. I haven't been able to find another
Smalltalk job in over a year, after earning a living as a Smalltalk
programmer for the last eight years. I can't get a job because I don't have
four years of Java, JSP, J2EE or C#.

The saddest thing is that I don't see any new Smalltalk projects out
there. I would love to see some people use Squeak (or any Smalltalk) on a
commercial project. Unfortunately, I've been unable to convince anyone of
the advantages of Smalltalk.

If anyone knows of any Smalltalk work in the New York City area, I would
like to hear about it.

  Regards,

  Larry Kellogg
