vertical alignment in text

Hello, I am using Squeak to make an electronic book for maths, I have
made some tools, and now I am adding the needed text to my "book", but I
am having problems with it.
The text is being written using latex, and them exported to html. I use
scamper to see it, but I see this: http://www.itais.net/matrizmal.html
when I should see : http://www.itais.net/matriz2.html.
As you can see, all the formulas are incorrectly placed because scamper
ignores the vertical alignment tags included in the html code.
I am trying to add this feature, but for that I should access to
TextLine and shift every character to be centered in the line. Scamper
alreadys made the work of resizing the height of the line according to
the image size.
Does anybody have any idea of how to do it?, or even better, does
anybody have a better idea to see latex written text rendered in Squeak
correctly?

Thanks in advance.
