No need to do that. "Metacello new" does the trick automatically, at least since Squeak 5.3. See MetacelloStub class >> #new.

I tested on OpenIndiana and on Solaris 11.3 and I believe this works.
Probably it also works on Solaris 11.4 but I didn't try that so far.

There is no archive path set to store data.
The following default will be used:

I think this question should be changed or its sense should be reversed.
Seems more intuitive to ask "Do you accept the default ?" and answer "Yes".
Anyway this seems to work for me based on a quick test ... Nice work.
