Hi daniel

I do not know the quality of the package, but I would really to have a 
default logger available in the core so that we could redirect error to 
one place. So may be this should not be in the minimal I do not know. 
This is related to the discussion of removing all the windows popping 
up everywhere where you do not have UI. Do webserver people and other 
headless users tried the package because this would be nice to have the 
point of view of potential users.
