When Monticello configurations are stored in a repository (or repositories), MCMcmUpdater acts as an update stream. Currently if a set of packages are unloaded from the image, using this class to reload them may cause problems, depending on what dependencies those classes have. Success is not assured. [ANN] Curved Space Explorer for Squeak

Hello, Let me introduce the Curved Space Explorer for Squeak project ( https://vimeo.com/71173349), known as CCSE by Krestianstvo SDK. It is a Smalltalk port version of Curved Spaces, originally developed by Jeff Weeks (geometrygames.org) in C language. This Squeak version is derived from Krestianstvo SDK project's version<http://nsuslovi.blogspot.ru/2009/12/collaborative-curved-space-explorer-v10…>, where Curved Space Explorer is collaborative in it's nature and available mainly for distributed computation. Rename ST80?

FWIW, ST80 was kind of a mystery for me for months after coming into Squeak. The name suggests that it's somehow the whole system that was released in 1980. I have a feeling that renaming it MVC would save some confusion for newcomers. Is there any super compelling reason not to just rename it MVC? -- Casey Ransberger

Kernel currently depends on Graphics because the MethodFinder references Color and Point. I would like to remove this dependency, but to do while while preserving MethodFinder's near-magical utility, it looks like we'd need some kind of pluggable extension thing. In other words, MethodFinder would provide some kind of API such that Graphics could say "you know MethodFinder, you ought to try these classes - Color and Point - and these methods - #@ and so on - when you run." MethodFinder >> #testRandom, #testTuple and #verify could then walk these per-package collections of interesting things when it does its thing. I would _really really_ appreciate someone (other than me) applying some grey matter to this problem. frank

Strange render bug

I just noticed this in the dependency browser. Note the right end of the top line, and the left part of the next line. The "withStamp:" is my favourite, where we have half a word normal+blue, and the other half black+bold. The bug disappears as soon as I widen the codepane. I can't reproduce the bug by narrowing the codepane though: the text correctly word-wraps. (Duly reported as http://bugs.squeak.org/view.php?id=7781) frank
